Friday May 23rd to Sunday May 25th, the PA Bigfoot Society and Legend Hunters will be hosting the first ever CLEARFIELD BIGFOOT DAYS. This event promises to be a weekend of Bigfoot INFOTAINMENT sure to sooth the appetites of enthusiasts everywhere.
On Friday, May 23rd, there will be a social gathering at Parker Dam State Park, at the organized group camp area. The Gathering will be from 4pm-7pm. Later in the evening there will be an outing to areas of reported Bigfoot activity.
On Saturday May 24th, 2014 at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre - there will be vendors and speakers for your enjoyment including: Eric Altman of the PA Bigfoot Society, Dave Rupert of Legend Hunters, Fred Saluga, Stan Gordon, and Brian Seech of C.C.S. Cost to attend the all day lectures is $6.00. Doors Open at 10am. Lectures start at 11am and end at 7pm. At 7pm, there will be a screening of "Mountain Devil: The Search for Frank Peterson" by Ryan Cavelline featuring members of the PA Bigfoot Society. If you did not attend the lectures, cost to see the film is $3.00. TICKETS ONLY AVAILABLE AT THE THEATRE ON EVENT DAY. All proceeds benefit the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre.
Finally on Sunday May 25th, back at the Group Campsite in Park Dam State Park, there will be workshops OPEN TO THE PUBLIC at NO COST. These workshops will include Track Casting, Animal Track Recognition, Outdoor Survivor Skills, Equipment Usage and Proper Evidence Collection.
If you plan on attending the weekend of camping with PA Bigfoot Society Members, please RSVP by May 10th. Space is LIMITED at the Organized Camping Area. Camping for those in attendance will be Friday and Saturday night.
